Last Chance to Enjoy Lake George’s Winter Carnival 2024
Lake George’s traditional Adirondack Park winter festival concludes on February 24 to 25, 2025.
It’s the final weekend of Lake George's Winter Carnival, February 24-25, 2024. And there is plenty of fun to be had. Festival events are still evolving, but activities already on the docket include:
Experience a perfect day at the beach with your family and friends by enjoying the warmth of a cozy bonfire at Shephard Park while the kids play exciting games and create beautiful crafts.
Take your Lil’ ADKer for a pony ride at Shephard Park during this time for a fee.
Get ready to participate in the LG Dogs Got Talent contest, presented by the Dog Cabin, and showcase your furry friend's talents. The event will start at 2:30 pm, so make sure you don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to compete for amazing prizes.
Show what you’re made of by taking the Polar Plunge at 3 pm in Lake George's crystal clear waters. Register in advance or at the Souvenir Tent in Shephard Park. And don’t forget to bring a towel!
If you want to enjoy the Adirondack winter scenery in a more laid-back way, consider taking a cozy horse-drawn carriage or sleigh ride on Canada Street with “A Time to Remember.” There is a fee for this activity. For more information, you can call Tina at 518.321.5539.
Attend the Chicken Wing contest and discover the amazing saucy formulas created by talented local ADK chefs. Tickets are required and sell out fast, so get yours when they go on sale on November 20.
