Free Family-Friendly Ice Fishing Clinic on Lake Champlain
Gather your family for an exciting day of learning and adventure at the free ice fishing clinic at Crown Point State Historic Site.
Experience the thrill of ice fishing as you and your loved ones discover the techniques and tips from knowledgeable instructors.
This engaging and educational event will be held on Saturday, February 8th, from 8 am to 1 pm, amidst the stunning backdrop of the Crown Point Historic Site, located at the picturesque southern end of Lake Champlain. Don't miss this opportunity to create lasting memories and enjoy the beauty of winter on the ice.
Staff and volunteers will teach beginners the basics of ice fishing with all the gear you’ll need for the day. Dress warmly and in layers: a hat, gloves, and waterproof boots. Some warm and cold drinks will be available. Organizers strongly recommend you bring snacks or a bag lunch.
There is no fee for this event. If the organizers must cancel the clinic due to predicted weather or ice conditions, they will do so 24 hours before the event.
