The Drag Christmas Special Returns to the Adirondacks
Support the arts in the region while enjoying some post-Xmas, pre-NYE glamour.
Are you wondering what to do between Christmas and New Year's Eve?
Hang on to your holly and get ready to deck the halls all over again.
It’s time to put the holiday celebration on repeat and enjoy some cocktails and a show at the Strand Center for the Arts in Plattsburgh. They are collaborating with the Ausable Theater to bring back the very popular Drag Christmas Special.
The spotlights are shining, and the fog machine is running for Tippy Gourley, returning with another seasonal spectacular event (but this time with better rehearsals). Drag stars like Miss Amber Skyy, Red Delicious, Mhisty Knights, and the gorgeous Seth Basher will join Tippy on stage.
Visit the Strand’s website for more information and to purchase tickets online.

If you’re not familiar, the Ausable Theater is in the midst of renovating a 1930s-era vaudeville venue, The Hollywood, in Au Sable Forks, NY. Check out their amazing story.
By bringing The Hollywood back to life, the goal is to highlight diverse creative expressions, broaden collective experiences, and represent the artistic, civic, and educational interests of the Adirondack community.
Sure, this is a great way to keep the party percolating between Christmas and New Year’s, but it’s also a terrific way to support efforts to uplift the community through the presentation of music, dance, theater, and film.
Check out their website. And support a great cause while having a ridiculous amount of fun this holiday season.
