The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train Travels Through the Adirondacks
The iconic Holiday Train will make stops in Fort Edward, Port Henry and Plattsburgh on Tuesday, November 26
The Amtrak Stations in Fort Edward, Porth Henry and Plattsburgh are your holiday destinations on Tuesday, November 26. The festively-decorated train is scheduled to make the following stops:
Fort Edward, 2:25 pm to 2:45 pm
Port Henry, 5:10 pm to 5:30 pm
Plattsburgh, 7:20 pm to 7:50 pm
At each stop, the James Barker Band and Clerel will perform. The James Barker Band is a Canadian country group who several hit country singles including, "Chills", "Keep It Simple", "Over All Over Again", and "New Old Trucks".
A natural-born vocalist, soul singer & songwriter, Clerel nurtured his taste for melody in his coastal hometown of Douala, Cameroon, where he grew up listening to music from his parents’ record collection, which ranged from church hymns and afrobeat to French chanson.
Although the performances are free, CPKC is urging attendees to consider donating money or heart-healthy food to help alleviate hunger in their community.
Local food banks will be present at each stop to accept donations and provide adequate food to those in need during the holiday season and year-round.
