A vibrant creative hub in the heart of Saranac Lake.

For over 25 years, the Adirondack Artists Guild Gallery has showcased fine art from across the region. Located at 52 Main Street in Saranac Lake, NY, over 30 talented local artists have participated as members since the gallery’s founding.

Artist cooperation makes the gallery a year-round success.
The gallery operates year-round, celebrating all that is special about creativity within this vibrant Adirondack community. Part of the gallery’s success comes from working as a cooperative venture. Members share maintenance duties and costs, along with plenty of fellowship and peer support.

Membership is limited to 15 artists at any given time to ensure plenty of space for each artist to display their work. Stepping into the gallery, visitors immediately feel an active artistic presence from the artist members who share the duties of managing the gallery. Or they may be working on a project or simply chatting with other patrons and visitors about the creative hub in Saranac Lake.

Each month, the gallery features a new exhibit, complete with opening night receptions, usually the first Friday of the month, from 5 - 7 pm, to coincide with Saranac Lake's First Friday tradition.

While the gallery is open year-round, hours vary by season:

Summer and Fall Hours

  • Monday through Saturday, 11 am to 5 pm

  • Sunday, 11 am to 3 pm.

  • After Indigenous Peoples Day, the gallery is closed on Mondays

Winter and Spring Hours

  • Tuesday through Saturday, 11 am to 5 pm

  • Sunday, 11 am to 3 pm.

Learn more at the Adirondack Artists Guild’s website, including the artists, their work and current and future exhibits. Note: the website is definitely worth a perusal. While we loved visiting the gallery, we got lost looking at all the beautiful artwork online that these talented artisans are producing right here in our ADK backyard.
