Long Lake’s Winter Carnival in the Central Adirondacks
Come and enjoy a full day of activities and games suitable for all ages in the community of Long Lake in the Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York.
The fun starts at Noon with the lighting of the Carnival Bonfire. Among the family-friendly events:
Live ice carving demonstrations by The Ice Farm at Noon
Witness the coronation of the Winter Carnival Royalty at 12:30 pm
Participate in the Cardboard Sled Races at 1 pm
Kid’s Balloon Chase (ages 9 and under) at 2 pm
Men’s Caber Toss at 2:30 pm
Ladies Frying Pan Toss at 3 pm
Wacky Hat contest
The Long Lake Fire Department will serve food
Enjoy free ice skating and sledding all day.
The fireworks will start at 6 pm sharp, so don’t be late.
And don't let the weather stop you from having fun, as this event will take place regardless of the weather conditions.
