The festivities span two days, from Friday December 6 through Saturday December 7, 2024. The schedule of events includes
Friday, December 6
5 pm - 5:30 pm children's craft activities
5 pm - 6 pm Holiday Puppet Show in the Town Hall Meeting Room
6 pm Tree Lighting & Caroling with cocoa, cookies, and caroling provided by Essex Initiatives
PLUS: Soup Potluck! Donations accepted to benefit Lakeside School at Black Kettle Farm
Saturday, December 7
Meet Santa and Mrs. Claus in Essex on December 7.
9 am - 11 am Pancake Breakfast with Santa at the Essex Firehouse (hosted by the Essex Masonic Lodge)
9:30 am Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive at the Essex Ferry Dock
11 am Reindeer Run
11 am - 1 pm Chili, Hot Soup & Bake Sale at the Essex Community Church
11:30 - 2 pm Cookie Decorating at the Essex Old Brick Store (next to Town Hall)
11:30 - 2 pm Holiday Crafts at Town Hall
1:30 pm Elf screening and Hot Cocoa at Belden Noble Memorial Library
1:30 pm Concert by The Champlain Valley Chorus of Sweet Adelines International at St. John's Church
All day long
Ornament Sale to benefit the Library at Belden Noble Memorial Library
Delicious treats libations are available at The Barn Door Tavern, Essex Ice Cream Café, and The Pink Pig
