It’s a great time to be in the Adirondacks.

In addition to these special events, ski season has begun in the ADK. Both Gore and Whiteface are open, and Oak Mountain is scheduled to open on Friday, December 15.

Two special events happening next week on Thursday, December 21, are the Winter Solstice Luminaria Walk in the Essex Quarry Nature Preserve and the Hyde Collection’s Annual Candlelight Tour; both promise to be extraordinary evenings.
