Ticonderoga's 4-day celebration to commemorate Independence Day culminates in a nearly day-long stream of events throughout the Village of Ticonderoga on Tuesday, July 4th.

Scheduled events include:

12:30 pm — Reading of the Declaration of Independence at the Ticonderoga Community Building

• Steps of the Town of Ticonderoga Community Building

• Reading by the Town of Ticonderoga Supervisor, Mark Wright

1 pm — Adirondack Independence Riders Motorcycle Parade

• In honor of Mike Rancour to benefit the Best 4th in the North

• Brought to you by the Adirondack TrailRiders

1:45 pm — Annual running of the Montcalm Mile

2 pm — Patriotic Parade, Montcalm Street and Downtown

• Grand Marshal: Sister Sharon

• Bandstand will be located next to the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce

• Music and sound system by Cruz Entertainment

• MCsMC's: Mark Barber and Katie Andersen.

4 pm to 9 pm — Kids’ Inflatable fun zone in Bicentennial Park 

• Bracelets $10 — includes rock climbing wall and two obstacle courses

4 to 5 pm — Stilt Walkers Kids show

• Patriotic Stilt Walkers Performace

4 pm to 10 pm — food trucks and vendors
