Celebrate July 4th in Long Lake
Enjoy an Independence Day full of fun activities followed by fireworks at Long Lake Town Beach.
Long Lake has a full day of festivities planned for the Fourth of July, 2023.
10 am — The Annual 4th of July Games
Join the fun on the Town Ball Field, Sponsored by the Town of Long Lake—games for all ages. Classic favorites include small children's scavenger hunt, balloon races, sack races, the venerable egg toss, and three-legged races. Lil ADKers will enjoy collecting their winnings from an exclusive prize booth.
4 pm — Long Lake Town Beach, 1258 Main Street, Annual 4th of July Celebration The Long Lake Fire Department hosts a cook-out of sausage & peppers, hot dogs and burgers. There will also be homemade strawberry shortcake from the Long Lake Lions Club.
Don’t miss Penelope the Clown at the Gazebo for Facepainting and Balloon Animals.
The Willie Playmore Band will be entertaining the crowds with their musical talents.
Dark — The best Fireworks in the Adirondacks can be seen from the beach, boat or Mt. Sabattis. For more information, call 518-624-3077 or visit mylonglake.com. In the event of rain, join the festivities at the Mt. Sabattis Pavilion.
