Ride into 1,000 Acres Ranch on Revolution Rail’s Pumpkin Patch Pedal.
As part of the event, Revolution Rail is debuting a new tour from their Thurman Station, the Pumpkin Patch Pedal. The tour will stop at 1,000 Acres Ranch, where each customer can select a pumpkin from the patch.
This majestic 9-mile round trip begins at their Thurman depot in the shadow of Hickory Mountain and is nestled in the Hudson River Valley. Pedaling up the tracks, riders of all ages will enjoy mountain views of the Three Sisters Range along the mighty Hudson as it widens and fills this Adirondack valley.
Entering Stony Creek, riders arrive at the vibrant 1,000 Acres Ranch seated below Deer Leap Mountain. Pedalers can select a pumpkin from the patch, and snacks and beverages will be available for purchase. After the pumpkins are loaded on the bikes, the tour will depart for the return to the Station.
Pumpkins are included in the price of the trip.
A great way to experience fall in the Adirondacks.
