Adirondack Loon Zoom Series: Studies and Conservation
Join Griffin Archambault, Research Biologist
On Thursday, April 11, at 7 pm (EST), join Griffin Archambault from the Adirondack Center for Loon Conservation for an update on recent research and upcoming summer projects.
Griffin grew up outside of Boston, Massachusetts. In 2020, he received a BS in Wildlife Ecology, with a concentration in Wildlife Science and Management, from the University of Maine (Orono). Griffin has studied and worked with many wildlife species, including spruce and ruffed grouse, American marten, black bears, white-tailed and mule deer, wild turkeys, and, most importantly, common loons.
Griffin has also worked in Maine, New Hampshire, Kansas, Georgia, and North Carolina. According to the ACLC website, Griffin hopes to make a difference by bringing his passion for loons and applied conservation to the Adirondacks.
In addition to working with loons, his hobbies and interests include fitness, hiking, camping, snowboarding, kayaking, and everything else related to the outdoors.
