The Fun Heats Up at Best 4th in the North in Ticonderoga
Four days of fun and celebration on Lake Champlain.
The Best 4th In The North Celebration in Ticonderoga, NY, is a four-day, family-friendly Independence Day festival held in Bicentennial Park. Carnival rides, games, food, and live entertainment each night are featured, and a fantastic fireworks display caps off the celebration on the evening of July 4.
The third day of festivities continues on Wednesday, July 3, with food trucks and vendors, a Cow Plop Bingo fundraiser, Touch a Truck, face-painting artists, an inflatable Fun Zone for Lil’ ADKers, giant lawn games, live music and more.
July 3 schedule of events.
4 pm – 9 pm: Food Trucks & Vendors
4 pm — 7 pm: Touch-a-Truck — Lil’ ADKers can interact with large construction equipment, first responder vehicles, and more. Touch-a-Truck will occur in the parking area between Kissing Bridge, Public Kayak, and Canoe Launch.
5 pm: Cow Plop Bingo Best 4th in the North Fundraiser — Buy a ticket to win a chance for cash prizes in a fun Adirondack tradition of live cow bingo. Lillie Valley Farm is making this fundraiser possible. Cow Plop Bingo will take place at the Ticonderoga Recreational Field. It must be seen to be believed.
5 pm – 9 pm: Kid’s Inflatable Fun Zone & Giant Lawn Games — Includes multiple themed bounce houses, obstacle courses, slides, and giant outdoor lawn games. Fun Zone will light up at night. Fun Zone Bracelets are $20 for 1, $35 for 2, and $10 for any additional bracelet. Bracelets are only valid for the day of purchase.
5 pm — 9 pm: Full Face Art by Art Bucket
6 pm – 9 pm: Live Music Featuring Skeeter Creek — New York’s number-one modern country band.
