Four days of fun and celebration on Lake Champlain.

Celebrate the 4th of July in the Adirondacks at Ticonderoga, a historic town on Lake Champlain.

The Best 4th In The North Celebration in Ticonderoga, NY, is a four-day, family-friendly Independence Day festival held in Bicentennial Park. Carnival rides, games, food, and live entertainment each night are featured, and a fantastic fireworks display caps off the celebration on the evening of July 4.

Festivities begin Monday afternoon with food trucks and vendors, a caricature artist, an inflatable Fun Zone for Lil’ ADKers, giant lawn games, a craft fair and live music.

Lawn games are part of the fun at Best 4th in the North.

  • 4 pm – 9 pm: Food Trucks & Vendors

  • 4 pm – 7 pm: Caricatures with Joe Ferris

  • 5 pm – 9 pm: Kid’s Inflatable Fun Zone & Giant Lawn Games — Includes multiple themed bounce houses, several obstacle courses, slides, and giant outdoor lawn games. Fun Zone will light up at night. Fun Zone Bracelets are $20 for 1, $35 for 2, and $10 for any additional bracelet. Bracelets are only valid for the day of purchase.

  • 5 pm – 9 pm: Craft & Vendor Fair

  • 6 pm – 9 pm: Live Music Featuring Hodge Podge — An acoustic rock band, playing hits spanning the 60s to the present.
