Last Call for Polar Bear Sightings! It’s the Final Night of The Sagamore Resort Glacier Ice Bar.

For two weekends in January, the Terrace overlooking the frozen waters of Lake George at the Sagamore Resort has been the destination for cocktails at the glorious Glacier Ice Bar & Lounge.

On Saturday, January 28, you will have one last chance to visit this outdoor cocktail lounge made entirely of ice — the bar, barstools, tables, chairs and even sofas. It takes over 18,000 pounds to make the frozen magic happen. Check out the ice sculptures, too. This year’s theme is “Arctic Wild,” so prepare to see all types of wintry wonders, like igloos, penguins and polar bears.

And if you need something to warm you up, hot toddies and other warm potables will be available, plus delicious chili and chowder. You don’t have to be a guest of the hotel to visit, but you do have to pre-purchase a ticket ($30 per person).

The Ice Bar’s final night will be Saturday, January 28, from 12 pm to 10 pm. Fireworks blast off at 9:45 pm.
