The Adirondack Village of Essex Commences its Holiday Season with the Annual Tree Lighting

Get in the holiday spirit in the picturesque Adirondack town of Essex on Lake Champlain and ADK Coast. The annual lighting of the Essex Town Hall Christmas Tree takes place at 6 pm on Friday, December 1st, 2023.
Festivities include caroling, hot cocoa and cookies. The Essex Ice Cream Café will be open, as will the Barn Door Tavern. And, if the mood strikes you, you can do some holiday shopping at the Adirondack Art Association Gallery.
The holiday fun continues in Essex on Saturday, December 2, with the arrival of Mr. and Mrs. Clause, pancake breakfast, craft fair, musical performances and other events.
