Adirondack Music Festival Celebrates Pete Seeger and Woody Guthrie.
The 33rd Adirondack Folk Music Festival takes place on Sunday, August 13 at Schroon Lake’s Town Park and Bandstand.
This year’s festival celebrates the legacy of Pete Seeger and Woody Guthrie. Performers include musicians who played alongside Pete and Woody, including:
The Kennedy’s
Reggie Harris
Jamcrackers
Cole Quest (Woody’s grandson) and the City Pickers
Vanaver Caravan’s — music and dance performance celebrating the music of Pete and Woody
Tony Trischka Band
Food trucks will be on hand and event organizers are working to include an art show.
This family-friendly event is FREE to the public, so bring your lawn chair, a blanket, and your friends and enjoy a great day of first-rate folk music on the shores of gorgeous Schroon Lake.
