Triple Green Jade Farm in the Adirondack’s Champlain Valley

In 2014, Dan and Kimmy Rivera acquired a long-dormant 80-acre farm nestled in the rolling hills just outside Willsboro on the northeastern edge of the Adirondacks.

They’ve been working hard to return the farm to its former glory, establishing grass-based micro-dairy and pastured poultry operations. They are also skilled bread artisans and make some of the best baked goods around.

Read about their incredible journey.

Where in the ADK? Find This Monument to Great Deeds

This week's "Where in the ADK" can be found in a small town approximately 20 miles west of Plattsburgh.

Despite its compact size, the community made significant sacrifices to support the Union in the Civil War, which led to the construction of the 40-foot monument you see here.

Do you know where this is in the ADK?
