Happy 15th Anniversary to Barkeater Chocolates!

North Creek’s purveryors of delicious, handmade chocolates will mark this milestone with fun and delectable events.

The Barkeater factory and store on Route 28 in North Creek.

We can’t wait to honor and observe Barkeater Chocolates' 15th anniversary on April 21 and 22, 2023.

The ADK-based company is celebrating with a series of special events at their factory store on Route 28, including special collaborations with other local purveyors of beer and wine.
Reserve your spot for chocolate pairings with beer and wine pairings on Friday, April 21.

On Friday, April 21, join Barkeater for Happy Hour beer and wine tastings starting at 4:00 pm (reservations required). Experience a guided tasting with a flight of local beers by Northway Brewing, including their limited-run Chocolate Caramel Beer created in collaboration with Barkeater.

Naturally, they’ll pair the brews with their delectable chocolate caramels and other tasty beers and treats.

Beer and chocolate – it doesn’t get better than that. Or does it?

They will also offer a guided pairing of chocolates with wines from Adirondack Winery, also celebrating 15 years in business. They will pour a flight of their local wines and guide you through how to pair them with chocolates. Separate reservations are required for the wine event.

You won’t want to miss the pairing of ADK winery’s chocolate-infused port, Celebratory Red, a limited-run interfusion created in collaboration with Barkeater Chocolates. In addition, Barkeater will debut their new Celebratory Red Truffle created with ADK Winery’s port.

Visit Barkeater Chocolate’s event page to reserve your spot at one of the tastings now.

Stop by the Factory Store on Saturday, April 22, for special sales, giveaways, and more.

You will want to return to their store on Saturday, April 22. They will offer special discounts, free chocolate giveaways, 15-minute haunted tours, contests with delicious prizes and other sweet items.

Locally owned and operated since 2008.

Barkeater Chocolates’ original confectioners and owners still operate the business today. They started with the idea to bring fine chocolate production back to the area and has since grown into a beloved regional favorite.

The owners are proud of their humble beginnings - beginning with just five recipes. Today, Barkeater Chocolate offers a variety of premium chocolates that have earned them numerous awards in the field.

The team at Barkeater also makes sure to give back to their community as well - they've partnered with local farmers to source ingredients, support initiatives such as the Adirondack Youth Climate Summit, and donate to the North Creek Food Pantry.

It's clear that Barkeater Chocolate has grown into one of the Adirondacks' finest purveyors of gourmet, hand-crafted delights made with the finest, locally sourced ingredients.. Looking ahead, there is no doubt that their delicious chocolate will continue to bring smiles for years to come!  Congratulations and best wishes!
