The festival showcases the latest independent films worth watching right now. Fall foliage season may be ending, but there are still great activities in store in November in the Adirondacks.

Once Halloween is over, there are still great things to enjoy in the ADK, including late-season hiking, fishing and other outdoor adventures. Here are a few of the upcoming events to look forward to:

New York State Free Fishing Day — November 11. NYS residents and non-residents can fish freely, unfettered by a freshwater fishing license.

William Shatner Returns to Ticonderoga — November 17 -19. The OG Captain Kirk is back!

Gobble Wobble — November 23. Glens Falls annual 5K and family fun race is a great way to work up an appetite for Thanksgiving dinner.
