6th Annual Wilmington Whiteface Whiskey Run & Festival
It’s time again for the Annual Wilmington Whiteface Whiskey Run and Festival to benefit the Wilmington Historical Societ’s building fund. Held every year on the third Saturday in June, this event is more than a race. It’s also an excellent opportunity to partake in potent potables, enjoy food from local establishments, shake your rump roast to some great live music, and learn about the War of 1812 and the area's history.
Race options include a 5K race, a 10 K race, and a Virtual Option. Run participants receive a t-shirt, a race completion medal, and “swag” from our local businesses. Awards are given in men’s and women’s categories for the 5K and 10K races for the first, second and third places.
But guess what, guys? You don’t have to run in the race to enjoy the festival! It is open to anyone who wants to attend. And why wouldn’t you want to participate with activities like:

1812 Battle of Plattsburgh re-enactors in period clothing with tents & demos, 11 am-4 pm, Preston Festival Field
Battle of Plattsburgh Military ceremony in remembrance of local War of 1812 soldiers, 12:30 pm, Preston Festival Field
Music and entertainment 11 am – 4 pm
Raffles, history display, craft vendors, craft demonstrators, and more… all day at Preston Festival Field, 11 am-4 pm.
