Every summer, the Adirondack Interpretive Center in Newcomb offers Wildlife Wednesdays to educate visitors about Adirondack flora and fauna. 2022’s inaugural Wildlife Wednesday is on July 6. The topic is the common raven, a bird known for its intelligence and resourcefulness. According to the Newcomb AIC, ravens are an essential part of the Adirondack ecosystem. Quoth the AIC, ravens “are a source of fascination for naturalists, writers, and artists alike.” (Did you see what we did there? Just a little English major humor.)
Call or email the Adirondack Interpretive Center to register. There are many more activities to enjoy at the AIC, too.
