Enjoy Santa Sunday at Whiteface Mountain in the Adirondacks
Get in the holiday spirit at one of the East Coast’s top skiing destinations.
Visit Whiteface Mountain in Wilmington, NY, on Sunday, December 10, wearing a FULL (head-to-toe) Santa or Mrs. Claus costume, and you will receive a free lift ticket for the day.
Participants must be in full costume and go to the Whiteface ticket window to receive their lift ticket.
Gather at the top of Little Whiteface at 11 am to participate in a group photo and take a lap down Excelsior (an intermediate trail).
Here's some trivia: “Excelsior” is the New York State motto. In 1778, New York State adopted a coat of arms incorporating the motto “Excelsior,” Latin for “Higher.” It’s a fitting name for a Whiteface ski run, given that Whiteface has the greatest vertical drop west of the Rockies.
Santa Sunday at Whiteface coincides with the Lake Placid Holiday Village Stroll, an entire weekend dedicated to holiday activities and celebrations.
