Enjoy Two Days of Fun and Art in Keeseville

The Keeseville 2023 Community Arts Festival takes place over two exciting days of art and fun in Essex County near Lake Champlain in the Adirondacks.

Friday, July 21

Morning Puppet Show by Kids Cove at the Library — 10:30 am and 11:00 am

Visit the Keeseville Free Library on Front Street for an entertaining puppet show
Puppets created for the show will remain on display throughout the festival.

Plein Air Show & Sale Opening Reception at the Old Stone Mill — 5 pm to 8 pm

See what artists have chosen to paint around Keeseville in the days leading up to the festival
Enjoy wine and cheese while viewing over 100 newly created works of art by 40 talented artists, showing Keeseville's beautiful landscapes and architecture.
Paintings are available for purchase from Friday’s opening reception through Saturday at 4 pm
Admission to the reception and a portion of artwork sale proceeds benefit AdkAction.

Live Music in Heritage Falls Park — 7 pm to 9 pm

Bring a chair or picnic blanket to enjoy live music alongside the Ausable River in downtown Keeseville.

Saturday, July 22

Color Run — 8 am to 10 am

Join us for the Dynamix Fitness & Wellness 5k Color Walk/Run & 1 Mile Splash of Color Kids Fun Run to benefit the Keeseville Community
Pre-register here or on the day of the event at 8 am in the gazebo at the Elks Lodge
5k and 1-mile race begins at 9 am at the Elks Lodge and finishes in Heritage Falls Park
The course features six color stations throughout the 5K
Runners/walkers will get a blast of environmentally safe, cornstarch-based colored powder at these color stations — Be sure to wear a white t-shirt (not provided)
Pre-Registered Runners will receive colorful sunglasses and a white bandana to wear around the neck to pull up when running through the color stations
This race is FREE to all participants
Kids 10 years & under will participate in the 1 Mile Splash of Color Fun Run

Plein Air Show & Sale, Brunch with the Artists at the Stone Mill — 9 am to 4 pm

Brunch from 10 am to 1 pm. Enjoy mimosas and light brunch fare while viewing over 120 newly created works of art by 40 talented artists
Paintings are available for purchase from Friday’s opening reception through Saturday at 4 pm
Gallery admission is free, and brunch is $10 at the door. Advance tickets are available here.

Arts in the Park — 9 am to 2 pm at Heritage Falls Park, behind the Keeseville LIbrary

Discover works by local artists with demonstrations from area potters, jewelry makers, Adirondack furniture makers, and more
Enjoy music by Alice’s Fault and food from The Dogfather and Island Vybz

Free Kids Activities at Arts in the Park

Face Painting 9 am to 2 pm
Plein Air for Kids 9 am and 10 am — outdoor painting class at the community garden. All supplies provided. Space is limited, please reserve a spot here.
Tie Dye Workshop for Kids 9 am to 2 pm — Space is limited, please reserve a spot here.

Vestopia Hoops at Arts in the Park — 11 am to 12:15 pm

Join the Vestopia Hoops dance group for a dancing and juggling workshop with scarves and hoops
All ages welcome. Sign up to reserve your spot
