Snocade Day Seven: It’s All Downhill
Downhill cardboard sled and kayak races, that is.

10:30 am to 11:15 am Super Fun Story Time at the Indian Lake Library In honor of Snocade, the Library’s regularly scheduled baby and toddler story time’s theme is "Fun in the Snow" with a big snowy sensory bin full of arctic animals, a snow person puppet station, and an indoor snowball toss to work on motor skills.
11:30 am to 8 pm Lunch & Dinner Specials at the Indian Lake Restaurant, Tavern & Liquor Store – 6296 NYS Route 30 518.648.5115
1 pm to 4 pm Cardboard Sled & Kayak Races at Ski Hill/Hut – Sleds must be made with cardboard, paint, wax, and tape. Kayaks may be decorated in a similar style. Prizes for sled/kayak include Fastest, Best Effort, Best Design, and Best Wipe Out per age division. Cookies and hot cocoa after the event. All ages are welcome. Please note that pre-registration is required to determine age divisions by calling (518) 648-5828 or development@indianlakeadk.com no later than 2/17/2023 by 3 pm. If you cannot pre-register, you must arrive at the Ski Hut between Noon and 12:30 PM to register otherwise, entries will not be accepted.
4 pm to 7 pm Happy Hour Drink Specials at The Bear Trap – 6453 NYS Route 30 (518)648-5341
5 pm Paint & Sip with Briana of Brushstrokes – Mountain View Adventures Cafe, 6627 NYS Route 30. Registration is required. Call 518.648.5120
