Enjoy this pleasant trail in Westport, NY, on beautiful Lake Champlain. The trail is 3-mile roundtrip and has an elevation gain of 196 ft. It is a moderately challenging hike with a steady incline and great views. It is also kid-friendly, so feel free to bring the Lil’ ADKers.
The trail leads to a stunning viewpoint where you can see Lake Champlain and the Green Mountains of Vermont across the lake. Bring a morning snack and a bottle of water, and be prepared for any weather conditions, rain or shine. The group will meet at the Trailhead near the Big Hollow Cemetery at 8 AM.
