It’s the final day of the 49th annual Can-Am Rugby Tournament in Saranac Lake.

Since its creation in 1973 by the Mountaineers Rugby Club, the Can-Am Tournament has grown to epic proportions. Now in its 49th year, it has become the pinnacle of rugby excellence. What started as a humble eight-team event has exploded into a massive gathering of over 100 teams from all across the globe. It's a mid-summer tradition that rugby fans don't want to miss.

Spectators have many matches to choose from, with men's and women’s teams, the unisex Quad Rugby Cup Match, and brackets for college, social or premier clubs. The player age ranges go right up to the over-sixties.
