Adirondack Runners are once again sponsoring the 33rd Prospect Mountain Road Race in Lake George. This year’s race will benefit the Michelle Lafontaine SUNY Adirondack Nursing Scholarship Fund.
The course is 5.67 miles up Prospect Mountain and starts at the Prospect Mountain Road gate, and then goes up a paved access road 1,601 feet to the summit.
There will be water stops on the course and snacks at the top. Prospect Mountain offers spectacular views from the southern end of Lake George and north.
The organizers will present awards to the top three overall male and female finishers and the top three males and females in five-year age groups.
